Jeri Michelson Joins Our Team

Jackson Creek Dental Group is very pleased to announce that Jeri Michelson has become the new Practice Administrator to lead the dental group into the new decade. In this role she is responsible for the day-to-day, behind the scenes running of the practice, allowing the dentists to focus on their specialty – doing dentistry. Human Resources, employee development and all accounting functions are also part of these responsibilities.

“Jeri is committed to lead our dental team in the pledge that Jackson Creek Dental Group has made to Amador County, which includes providing world class dentistry to this community and being here when patients need us,” stated Ron Ask, DDS, founding partner of Jackson Creek Dental Group.

In this role Michelson will be responsible for the day-to-day, behind the scenes running of the practice, allowing the dentists to focus on their specialty – creating beautiful smiles for a lifetime. Human Resources, employee development and all accounting functions are also part of these responsibilities.

Michelson attended California State University, Fresno majoring in psychology. She brings with her over 20 years in administration and management, most recently working as the manager of several Briar Patch retail stores in Sacramento which offer high-end gifts and accessories specializing in pipes and cigars. Michelson has also been responsible for the design, management and execution of tenant improvements in several retail stores, and dramatically increasing sales through employee training and retention.

“Dentistry is a new industry for me and although it is different from anything I have done in the past, my management and people skills make it a perfect fit. I have found the business to be extremely interesting, a lot of fun, and everyone at Jackson Creek Dental Group is extremely professional and empowering,” stated Michelson.

Michelson was born and raised in Madera, CA, and currently lives in Sacramento where she enjoys spending time with her family and reading mystery novels. She has been very active in her daughter’s school, the parent association, and totally rebuilding the K-8 library including 10,000 new volumes and other materials. She enjoys traveling, and has spent two years living with her family in Saudi Arabia.
