Regular Dental Exams and Screenings
Let Jackson Creek Dental Group Keep a Close Eye on Your Oral Health
Recent studies have proven a link between oral health and systemic health. What does that mean? It means that what goes on in your mouth can affect your entire body.
All the more reason to schedule regular dental exams and screenings at least twice a year.
At Jackson Creek Dental Group, our dental exams and screenings are comprehensive and thorough and include:
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays produce more precise images of the teeth than traditional film-x-rays, allowing us to diagnose problems earlier.
CT Scanner
Accurate diagnosis. Precise treatment plans. Excellent results. These are just a few of the benefits provided by our CT Scanner technology. The CT Scanner produces high-definition 3-D images that allow us to accurately diagnose and treat many dental conditions, from planning and placing implants to diagnosing and treating periodontal disease.
DIAGNOdent® Exam
The DIAGNOdent is a hand-held laser that detects cavities before they can be seen by traditional x-ray or visual exam. Early detection lets us correct the problems while they’re small and before they can do damage.
Intra-oral Camera Exam
This Intra-oral camera projects live images of your teeth onto a computer screen in the treatment room. The enlarged images allow us to see any cavities, decay, failing fillings or other problems occurring in your mouth. The computer screen in the room lets us show you exactly what we’re seeing, so you are involved in your care.
Oral Cancer Screening
We will conduct a visual exam of the soft tissues of your mouth to detect any abnormalities.
Fluoride Treatment
Children receive a fluoride treatment to help strengthen and protect their teeth long after they’ve left our office. We also give adults fluoride treatments on an as-needed basis.
