Dr. Dwight D. Simpson
Practicing Advanced Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implants, and More

Dr. Simpson graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1992, receiving the Academy of Operative Dentistry’s award for outstanding achievement for best overall restorative dentistry in his class. He then completed extensive post-graduate coursework in both orthodontics and TMJ therapies at the Mid America Orthodontic Society. Dr. Simpson has also received the Smile Gallery Gold Medal from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2013, Dr. Simpson attended over 300 hours in implant training with Maxicourse at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Simpson joined the Jackson Creek Dental Group with the goal of providing the best, most current and most complete dentistry possible, always making sure to fulfill his clients’ needs, life dreams, and expectations.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, the Western States Study Group for Functional Jaw Orthopedics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an Associate Fellow Apprentice and member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When not at work, Dr. Simpson’s top priority is spending time with his family. He also enjoys trail running, bicycling, kayaking, snow and water skiing, woodworking, computers, gadgets, problem solving, and helping others.
Jennifer, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jennifer was raised in Valley Springs and went to High School at Calaveras High. She went on to attending Western Career College to get her Registered Dental Assisting license in 2010. Jennifer was
Jennifer’s favorite part about being part of the Jackson Creek Dental Group practice is how large our office is and how many patients are seen on a daily bases. Having five doctors in the building to learn new procedures and different techniques from is the most exciting to constantly be learning and growing. Jennifer is always building her rapport with her patients to educate and assist in their overall health.
When Jennifer is not working hard to improve or maintain patients oral care she is spending time with her family of three kids and husband camping, traveling, dirt bike riding, being outdoors, and watching her oldest excel in sports.

Cara, Patient Coordinator

Cara is an avid reader and can read more than 100 books a year! Cara loves to be with friends and family watching comedy shows, live music, participating in axe throwing, camping aka glamping, and being with her daughter. Cara loves to go shopping and will even go on her lunch break to find the hottest trends.
Cara goes above standards, to make connections, grow trust while being 100% honest with her patients because she treats them like family. She is a ray of sunshine and is never seen without a smile on her face.

When not at work, Jennifer’s interests include camping, gardening, creating art projects, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
Somer, Registered Dental Assistant
Somer was born in Virginia but grew up in the central valley south of Fresno in a little town called Lemoore since she was six. Somer was very active in her school by playing Water Polo and was team captain for three years, she was also a coach for Swimming. Somer has always exceled in school and was on the honor roll. Somer worked in a different office for a year and a half for her externship before she came to Jackson Creek Dental Group in the fall of 2022. Somer will be taking her test to become a Registered Dental Assistant in the near future and looks forward to expanding her knowledge in dentistry by getting or Orthodontic Assistant license too.
Somer is extremely personible with all of her patients. Somer is a bubbly being who’s goal is to make others smile and enjoy their day. She always wants to do her very best for the company, team and the patients. Somer is very empathic and uses her skills to make every patient and coworker feel comfortable.
In her down time Somer is spending time with her family and friends, doing water sports, hunting, camping, riding horses, ATV’s, boating, kayaking, and sun bathing. Somer loves her music and is always jamming out, usually when she is doing yard work.
