Dr. Emmanuel Donjuan Velez

Practicing Advanced Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implants, and More

Raised internationally, Dr. Donjuan moved to the United States at age 14 and attended high school in Texas. Dr. Donjuan is bilingual in Spanish and English. Over the years, he has called several places home, including San Francisco, Riverside, McAllen (TX), and Loma Linda.

He completed his undergraduate studies at La Sierra University and went on to earn his Dental License from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. During dental school, he was selected to join the prestigious Gold Foil Selective Class and received his dental license in 2022. From 2015–2018, he earned academic recognition for maintaining a high GPA, and he was honored as part of the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, where he demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community service.

For Dr. Donjuan, dentistry is more than a career—it is a true passion. He views his work as a joyful calling, striving to provide compassionate, modern, and high-quality care in a friendly, professional environment. He believes the best reward is helping patients improve their dental health and confidence, and he values feedback as a way to continue growing and serving his patients better. He joined the Jackson Creek Dental Family and is eager to give the patients in the are the world class dentistry we are known for.

Looking ahead, Dr. Donjuan hopes to dedicate more time to missionary dentistry and giving back to the community. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, playing tennis and soccer, cooking, spending time with family, and is looking forward to taking up pickleball.

Maryurys Pisciotta (Margie) Registered Dental Assistant (Photo coming soon)

Margie was born and raised in Venezuela. After graduating she then took her education farther and attended Norther Virginia community College where she received her certificate of English as her second language, San Diego’s Ecelle College where she received her Registered Dental Assistant license and went on to Paloma College to get her photography certificate. Margie looks for every opportunity where she can learn and grow her skills. Her achievements at multiple work sites have proven this. She has received Best Employee from the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and even the Best Employee of the Year by Dr. Gentry Contin from Arlington, VA.

Welcoming Margie not only to the Jackson Creek Dental Family but to Amador County as well. Margie loves to travel and has lived in places like China, Japan, Venezuela, Spain, Florida, Virginia, and back now in California. Margie takes pride in any task she completed and always looks for ways she can improve. Margie is excited that she gets to join a practice with great professionals that work side by side, smile, and have a great positive team spirit. Also, where she can be challenged to further her career and utilize all her dental assisting skills to her full capabilities.

In Margie’s free time she is with her family or working on her new mountain escape. She is looking at getting some farm animals and enjoying the great outdoors with her two dogs, wine tasting, traveling, camping, and spending time at the beach.
