Campout for Cancer was held last weekend and raised $84,000 for Amador STARS, which provides services, transportation and resources for cancer patients in Amador County. Jackson Creek Dental Group was one of the supporters of this awesome event which is held every year, and except for a small portion that goes to cancer research, all the money raised stays right here in our county to support our local cancer patients. When they light the luminaries around the track each year it is a profound and touching moment. What a great event and awesome organization to support; one that touches so many family and friends right here in our own backyard.
