The Support Team at Jackson Creek Dental Group
Dental Health for Jackson, Ione, Pine Grove, Sutter Creek and Pioneer
Monica, Dental Assistant
Born and raised in San Jose and its neighboring cities, Monica settled in the foothills of Amador County with her children to be close to her family. She graduated from Andon College (now Merrick College) in Stockton in 2001 and completed her externship in San Andreas. She joined our practice in October 2007 because she was excited about the opportunity to work in an office that was using the latest in dental technology.
Monica loves the camaraderie of the staff and the fact that they are all focused on educating the patient about their dental health. She also is happy to have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in her dental knowledge, and is now dedicating all her free time to studying so she can take the test for her RDA license.
Being a “family-oriented” mom, Monica enjoys spending a lot of time with her children, having family dinners and playing taxi for her daughter. She also enjoys reading and shopping when time permits.
Bobbie, Registered Dental Assistant
Bobbie has been in the dental field for over five years. She is a 2010 graduate of Kaplan College in Stockton and was the Valedictorian of her class. Bobbie joined Jackson Creek Dental Group in August of 2015 and was impressed by how everyone was so nice and inviting, and how wonderful it was that we offered so many different services to patients all under one roof. She also brings over 20 years of management and supervisory experience from retail employers and the dental field.
Bobbie loves spending time with her family. She and her boyfriend also enjoy hopping on their motorcycle and driving off into the sunset when they can get away. When Bobbie is not riding in the wind, you may find her volunteering at her church helping out with the Bread of Life.
Gabbey, Registered Dental Assistant
Gabbey joined Jackson Creek Dental Group in 2016, after completing the Dental Assisting Program at Carrington College in Sacramento. She plans to continue her education and become a hygienist in the future. Gabbey previously worked several jobs concurrently: Assistant General Manager at Jamba Juice in Martell and Beverage Server at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort.
Many of Gabbey’s family and friends are patients here at our office so she was very familiar with our practice. When she found out there was an opening she asked her instructor if she could complete her externship with us because she thought it would be a good fit for her. “Everyone here is so nice, very welcoming, and the doctors are amazing,” said Gabbey. “It’s been a wonderful experience for me.”
Born and raised right here in Jackson, Gabbey and her family are long term residents of Amador County. She is a graduate of Amador High School where she played basketball, softball and volleyball, and continues to be quite the athlete.
When Gabbey is not at work you can find her playing and coaching volleyball at the new Gold Country Volleyball Club here in Amador County. The team is made up of girls ages 8 through 18. She also loves anything Disney and her favorite in the Disney family is Minnie Mouse, of course.
