Jackson Creek Dental Group Hygienist Trains Pediatric Clinic On Applying Fluoride Varnish

Yesterday Dena, one of the Jackson Creek Dental Group hygienists, went over to the local Pediatric Clinic and trained their staff on how to apply fluoride varnish. She also educated them on the benefits fluoride provides for a child’s dental health. Fluoride treatment is the single most important thing that you can do to help your child keep their teeth for a lifetime. Fluoride supplements and regular professional fluoride treatments will reduce dental decay by 50-70%. The clinic will be applying fluoride varnish to the young children they see in their practice every six months from the time the child gets their first tooth through age five. These kids will still need to visit their dentist on a regular basis for their dental checkups. The training was great and the room smelled of bubble gum once everyone was done applying fluoride varnish on their fellow workers. Thanks Dena.
